I've been kind of putting off making a new blog post, partly because I got back off my holiday down in Lincolnshire last Thursday so I have quite a lot to write about and I just can't be bothered, but I'm going to do it the best I can from what I can remember anyway. So we went down on the 31st and it was a gorgeous day. The caravan site was pretty nice and open and it even had a little pond where loads of ducks and other weird birds would float about on. However, because the site was in the middle of the woods, there was bugs EVERYWHERE. Anyone that knows me will know that I am terrified of any kind if insects, so I was pratically freaking out. That day was pretty awful because it was a long trip down, then it takes hours for my parents to put the awning up on the side of the caravan and we weren't allowed/couldn't get into the caravan because the brake things weren't down and everything was a mess inside. Anyway, the next few days the weather was still gorgeous so we ended up going into Boston to have a look around and see what had changed. Stupidly, my mum ended up only getting an hour parking ticket so we could only rush around and look, but I ended up getting a pair of shoes from New Look before we had to leave so it wasn't that bad. Then on the Monday I ended up going to meet an old friend of mine for a couple of hours. We just walked around the old village I used to live in so I could see everything again and we just had a catch up which was really nice. Found out some things that I didn't know. By the time my parents came to pick me up though I was in bloody agony because of my legs which I'm not going to into depth with. I pratically couldn't walk, yet they wanted to look around Woodhall Spa so I honestly wanted to kill myself. My mum and I ended up going to see Cars 2 in the afternoon as well though (which was a huge disappointment compared to the first one).  Some point during the week I went to the cinema again with my dad to see Mr Poppers Penguins which I really enjoyed, even if the cinema was filled with little kids. I don't think there was much else that I did that was worth mentioning to be honest apart from going shopping in Lincoln and Horncastle, going out for walks at Ostler's plantation and taking pictures in various different spots for my camera. On one of the days I was meant to go into Lincoln with the family but I was very very ill so I couldn't go. I wanted to go in so I could buy myself an iPod because I've been after one for years. However, I just couldn't so my dad and sister went to Boston instead while me and my mum stayed in the caravan while I tried to read and watch Star Wars with my duvet to make the pain go away. My dad did end up coming back with an iPod nano for me in orange/gold 16GB so I'm extremely happy with that. Through out the course of the holiday, I ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes, shorts, sunglasses and a headband thingy. I also ended up buying about 10 second hand books and ended up reading 6 different books over the course of the 11 days. Bloody achievement and a half! On the last day when I was talking some pictures of the old castle and church I used to go to when I was little, I ended up going inside and I noticed a set of different vinyal records. I decided to have a look and came across and Elvis Presley greatest hits selection for just £4 so my dad bought it for me. The great thing is that when I searched it online when I got home, it turns out that people are selling it for anything inbetween £15 - £100 and I only got it for £4! What a bargin! Over all though, I really enjoyed it. I honestly didn't want to leave. I didn't realise how much I missed Lincolnshire, even if it is pretty shit still. I love the countryside though and I think I always will. It just shows what being cooped up in a house does to you though because already on the first night I was back home I was depressed again. I did have a nice night on Saturday though. One of my mates had a party with the girls and one of my mates older brothers and their friend came over so it was a very funny night. I was even given permission to drink so that was bloody brilliant. I now have another 3 parties that I'm attending in the next couple of weeks and I have results day next week, argh! I'm bloody shitting it. Wow, long post.
