♡ Seeing the country come together for the Queen's diamond jubilee.
♡ Dressing up with your best clothes and make-up and feeling pretty.
♡ Getting drunk with your best friends and thinking "fuck it" (in a good way).
♡ Getting that feeling where you know that's what you want to be doing in 5, maybe 10 years time. Whether that's visiting a certain country or what job you want to be in.
♡ Realising who your real friends are. At first it doesn't feel too great, but you'll soon see that realising and accepting that the people you thought were your friends, really aren't, is is a good thing.
♡ Visiting a place you've never been before and knowing that place will always be in your heart. Two places that have done that to me recently are York and Krakow, Poland.
♡ Drunkenly dancing with two of your best friends by yourselves on a dance floor in front of hundreds of people/families in a holiday park.
♡ Laughing at things that no one else would find as funny as you and your friend do. Yesterday, me and my best friend cried with laughter for a good 5 minutes at GTA because a woman's head fell off when she ran her over. It's the little things in life, eh? Haha!
♡ Realising you love the country you live in, no matter how shit it's weather and a lot of the people living in it is.
♡ Planning to go travelling with one of your best friends (if I ever manage to get a job) in your gap year.
♡ Finishing a book/film or walking out of the cinema and thinking "wow" and feeling inspired.
♡ Curling up in bed on a chilly night watching a favourite film/TV show with a cup of tea or ice cold can of coke and chocolate.
♡ Seeing a picture of a beautiful place in the world and thinking, not "I want to go there" but "I can't wait to be there."
♡ Knowing the exact University and course you want to do and working your arse off to get the grades needed to be able to get in. (Mine is Archaeology in Ancient Civilisations at Liverpool).
I got the idea to do this from my favourite blogger on Tumblr, Daisy Lola (daisylola.com). I think it's important to remember the small things in life that make you happy because it can be incredibly hard to stay positive (I know from experience. I'm still working on it myself.) So I think this is a very therapeutic thing to do. I'm going to try to do these at least once a month, maybe more than that because mainly I enjoy doing these kind of things.
Love this post! Can relate to so many things x
