Yorkshire Easter 2012

Since I'm on a role at the moment making posts, I thought I'd make a college of the photos I took whilst I was in Yorkshire in the caravan with my family in the Easter holidays this year. I'd been to Yorkshire before, but not York. I absolutely loved it. As you can probably tell, I love taking photos of both historic and beautiful things, so the city of York was perfect for that. I loved the history behind the city. I especially loved the minster. While we were there, we went shopping for a bit, went to York Dungeons (it was brilliant!), we walked around a lot, we walked along the city walls and we even went to a Richard III museum (I've been learning about Richard III and the Tudors in half of my AS history course. The museum wasn't very good though.) We wanted to go to the Jorvik Viking museum, but it was absolutely packed so sadly we couldn't go. While we were staying in Yorkshire, we went to Scarborough too. I have mixed opinions about it because I love the sea, but it was a bit too seaside touristy for me (if that even makes sense). All in all though, I loved staying there and I can't wait to go back to York again. It's university is even one of my choices!
