1. History.
Something that I used to hate a few years ago, but now want to do at university. I think it's really important to know about the past so that you understand the present easier. I'm mainly into ancient history and the way people used to live; like religion, architecture, myths, aesthetics and just the way people lived/civilisations in general. However, I'm also interested in the way people (not the actual monarchy and the way that worked though) lived during the likes of medieval times and I like learning about modern wars because I think that's really important for understanding how politics and the world works now etc. It's weird how I used to hate it when my parents would make me look round castles and ruins and the like when we were on holiday, but now that's what I love doing haha! I think if people from school remembered me in the sense of what subject was 'mine', then it would be either history or drama.
2. Music.
Music has probably been the longest passion of mine that I've had. When I was young, if I wasn't playing out in the street or watching a Disney film, I'd either be blasting my mum's ABBA/Shania Twain CD's or dad's Elvis/Oasis CD's or singing my heart out to the music channels. I have listened to all the different kinds of music that you can imagine over the past 17 years of my existence; from Girls Aloud & Busted, to The Jonas Brothers & Miley Cyrus (whom I still love with no shame), to Bring Me The Horizon & You Me At Six, to Rascal Flatts & Carrie Underwood, to Elvis Presley & Johnny Cash, to The Beatles & The Doors to Black Sabbath & Metallica. It's just something that I turn to help vent my anger or to make a happy mood even happier.
3. Acting.
Something that I can only dream of becoming successful in. I don't actually know if I am any good or not, but that doesn't matter to me because I love it so much now. It hasn't been something that I've been doing for long (only properly since Year 10 in fact, although I did love having parts in little pieces we did at primary school at church) but I can't imagine my life without it now. There's just something about getting the rush of adrenaline before I go on stage and becoming a different character for that short space of time; terrifying but utterly amazing. There's still so much that I need to try out as well, like all the incredible special effects that are used in films and TV shows like Merlin. It's just insane. I can assure you that if nothing big comes of it for me in the future, then I will still be doing it in societies at university and local productions in theaters when I get older.
4.Dreaming
For as long as I can remember, I have always been a huge dreamer. It sounds really cringey and cliché but it's true. I think I've always been a fairly creative person, or I definitely used to be when I was younger so I think that plays a big part in it too. I can spend ages either just lying down on my bed or sitting down in the shower just going over things in my head and thinking up different scenarios. I think it just keeps me sane to be honest because I just dream about things that I'll finally be able to become when I'm older and have the money. I dream of anything from what I'd say in an interview if I ever made it as an actress to what country am I going to travel to without my parents first, to what my own house will look like in the future to what charity I'm going to help out with first.
5.Other.
I can't really think about anything else that I'm 'passionate' about, so I'll just mention some things that I really love instead: TV & film, interior design/home decor, reading, science, extreme sports(mainly skiing as I can do that!), animals, fashion, video games, taking photographs of anything and everything, travelling and most things that boring people would define as 'nerdy'.
these are so cute :)
