July Favourites.

It's August already, wow! It's weird knowing that this day last year I was travelling down to Lincolnshire in the caravan with my family after finishing my GCSE's and worrying about the results and starting A Levels. A year later and I'm sat in my PJ's watching Gregory Gorgeous Youtube videos and preparing for going away for 10 days in the caravan to Blackpool and my AS Level results. Time flies! Anyway, I thought I'd share some of the products and other things that I've been using a lot and loving!

1. VO5 Miracle Mist.
I use this hair product every time I come out of the shower before I brush my hair. It's supposed to help frizzy and dry hair, but I mainly just use it because my hair is an absolute nightmare to try brush out after I come out of the shower, but if I spray this onto my hair and leave it for a couple of minutes, I find it helps make it slightly easier to try and comb through. It does say that you can spray it a couple of times on dry (as in not wet) hair if it is frizzy and I have tried that. It wasn't amazing, but it did make it look a little less wild!

2. L'OrĂ©al  Super Dust.
The first time I used this was when the hairdresser put it on my roots to make my hair look more volumed. I thought the idea and the product looked great so I bought it. I think it was pretty picey at about £12 though. Luckily I have pretty natural volumed hair, but I do have the odd day where my hair is looking a bit lifeless, so I just whack a bit of this on. It's easier/less time consuming than back combing, probably healthier and I've found lasts longer too. However, I do hate the texture of it; if anyone has every tried Batiste's XXL Volume dry shampoo then it feels a bit like that!

3. Kate Moss Lasting Finish lipstick.
I've already reviewed this lipsticks on here last month, but I'm still absolutely loving no. 12! I just think that it has a really nice finish to it, it's a gorgeous colour and it's a colour that makes your teeth look whiter. I don't wear lipstick as much as I'd like to because I always worry that it'll wear off during the day without me realising but it'll still be left in the corner of my your mouth and around the outline. Not a nice look, haha! But I know that if I did wear it more often, then I'd be wearing this lipstick all the time.

4. Natural Collection blushes.
The two blushes that I own by Natural Collection are Peach Melba and Pink Cloud. I bought these two after hearing all the hype from beauty gurus from Youtube and since I needed a cheap but lovely blush, I went with them. Now I will never go back! If I'm doing my makeup and I've chosen to wear blush, then 9 times out of 10 it will be one or the other. I don't actually have that many blushes anyway, but even if I did then I'd still probably wear them a lot regardless!

5. My Kindle Touch.
I got my Kindle Touch for my birthday this year and I luuuurve it. I haven't actually gotten round to reading a lot on there yet as I'm still in the process of reading an actual book and haven't finished it yet, but when I got it I couldn't wait and (even though I hate doing that now) started reading I Am Ozzy, Ozzy Osbourne's autobiography. I haven't finished that yet either, but I'd definitely recommend that too to any Ozzy fans! When they first came about I was pretty against one because I was very "Oh how could anyone read it on a screen?! Books 4eva!" But after buying far too many over the years, I am slowly but surely running out of space on my bookshelf. However, my Kindle holds well over 1,000 books there so that was one of the reasons I changed my mind. Plus, any book lover will agree that it can be a pain trying to read a book in bed  if it is heavy and you are lying on your side so you only want to use one hand to hold it! I'm sure once I properly start to use it I'll love it even more than I do already!

6. My knockoff Creepers.
Now I can't afford to buy proper creepers, but I have loved the look of them since they came back into fashion. I love dressing edgy, and I also love 50's and punk-esque style so I fell in love with them. I just couldn't justify spending about £80 on a pair of shoes though. However, when I was flicking through the Asos marketplace website, I came across these shoes on someones boutique. I got them for about £40 including delivery. I was a bit apprehensive at first because a lot of knockoffs can be pretty dodgy and will not last long (as I found with a previous pair of knockoff Creepers that only lasted 2 days), but as soon as they came I could tell that they were well made and the sole of the shoe was in good condition and should last pretty long. I've worn them a fair amount of times already (I got them for my birthday) and as you can maybe see in the picture, the front of the shoe above my toes is creased a bit from where I've worn them in, but apart from that I haven't found any other fault with them so far. Love love love them!
